Q- How do you know if he is telling the truth?
He told me that he messed up, he went into detail about the whole situation. His story is in fact very believable. It is my personal belief that he is telling me the truth.
Q- How did he not know she was underage?
First off, honestly, how many people do you card before you make out or fool around with? You card people when they buy cigarettes, not when it comes to sexual acts, especially if you are a naive teenager yourself. She apparently looked older than what she was, and where I'm from, it's common. The other day at work, I saw a 10 year old girl with more makeup on than her mother. She was also wearing a mini shirt and a bikini top. Come on! I think parents need to stop being so lenient on their little sluts. I'm not saying the girl he messed around with was 10 years old, but it's an example on how young girls can play up their age. Also, he didn't ask her how old she was because they just met. As stupid of him as it was, I've done it before too. It's called a quickie. There were times when I could barely remember a name let alone an age. That's when I was a teenage whore. Case and point.
Q- Was there any physical evidence?
No. None at all. What messed this up for Kevin? His honesty. He knew he was wrong for what he did. He confessed. I believe he should have just kept his mouth shut, but he really is too honest of a person for that. If it were me, I would have denied the whole thing. So, for all of you who thought I was trying to make him look like a saint, you're wrong. He is the better half of us though, I'm the liar and the violent one.
Q- Was he already sentenced?
The sentencing trial is on August 18th, the day that I wish would never come. 3-6 years is the worst possible sentence, also, a lifelong registration with Megan's Law. This means it'll be harder to get jobs, you are restricted to where you can live, and you can't even go to certain places, like a swimming pool. It's pretty much an open air prison. Right now, it's looking like he'll get work release and then probation. But we have to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
Q- Why don't you talk to the girl?
I have anger issues and absolutely cannot stand people trying to blame others for their fuckups. I have no interest in even knowing who she is. If I ever were to meet with her, I think I'd be sick. I'm too good to even associate with her.
Q- Why bring MJ into this?
I just used him as an example. Seriously, maybe next time I'll use OJ. The post was supposed to be about MY situation. However, most of the comments were insults and stupid bickering. Some of you are real immature assholes. Thanks for the sympathy!
I'd like to thank everyone who gave me an honest opinion though. I also enjoyed some of the shared stories, knowing that other people have to deal with similar situations, makes things seem a little more easy.
